In the front garden of the Royal Palace in Visegrád, a fairytale garden and a playhouse await guests who want to play. You can enter the world of Mátyás’ fairy tales through the ornate gate, guarded by two mighty Hungarian and Turkish soldiers from all those who don’t believe in fairy tales. The King Matthias Playground is not like traditional playgrounds. Its elements are designed to appeal to all the senses: a cavalcade of colours and sounds, with different scented plants leading to each play. The toys are all individually designed works of art made of natural materials, playfully integrated into their historical surroundings.
